The Little Afro that Could

For a while, I thought my hair was in a rut.  The TWA was just too teeny.  But I’m happy to say that I now see that my hair is growing and while I am enjoying my two-toned curls at the care-free length that they are, I look forward to much more growth.  Check out the difference from Oct. 2011 to June 2012.

Chugga chugga, chugga chugga… CHOO CHOO!

  1. My question is answered somewhat. I was going to ask did you do a big chop to transition or is this length how you wear your hair. I now have another question did you do your big chop or did you go to a salon, I have been gradually cutting my relaxer out of my hair but I am so tired of the ends ruining how long my hair styles last, you know the humidity gets to it faster that my natural hair that is shooting through

    • My hair was already very short. About 2 weeks before the big chop (or little snip as I like to call it) I went to the salon and asked my friend to cut my hair like Amber Rose. She thought I was crazy, so she cut it a little but left some straight ends on in the front. One day a few days later I woke up and drove to Visible Changes and had a random chick fade me up! It wasn’t much of a difference in length but of course the texture had changed. I haven’t really changed my wardrobe much but I’ve noticed that I’ve gotten into makeup. A LOT! I guess I need something else to play around with, now that my hair doesn’t change that much. Again, thanks for stopping by and commenting.
